The Montgomery County A&M Club Scholarship Foundation is now taking applications for our annual scholarships. These scholarships are for high school seniors who will attend Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas (only). Students can request a scholarship application by clicking the Scholarships page. The deadline for the completed applications is January 31, 2017.
Each scholarship is for two thousand dollars ($2,000.00). There will be 12 or more scholarships this year. The scholarships are paid directly to The University - $1,000.00 for the Fall Semester and $1,000.00 for the Spring Semester. In order to keep the scholarship, each recipient must maintain at least 12 semester hours, for the entire semester, in both the Fall and Spring semester of their Freshman year. The hours must be taken at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
To be eligible, an applicant must be entering Texas A&M University for the first time in the Summer or Fall of the year of the scholarship and meet one of the following residency requirements:
1. Be a graduating senior from a Montgomery County public high school.
2. Be a resident of Montgomery County and be graduating from a private high school located in Montgomery County.
3. Be a resident of Montgomery County and be graduating from a home school program recognized by Texas A&M University.
A resident of Montgomery County is defined as a student living at the same address as his/her custodial parent or guardian who resides in Montgomery County.
